Octagonal Red & Black Lacquer Lidded Box W/ 5 Smaller Boxes Inside 10"X10" Shakuhachi This is a 100 yearThese are a set of five wooden boxes inside a large Octagonal box. Each box is covered with over twenty layers of lacquer. The design featured on the lid are inlaid with mother of pearl in a floral motif. Having been in storage with exception to minor signs of use, they remain in good conditioning and in good polish. The largest measures about 10" (25. 5 cm) in diameter by 3" (7. 5 cm) tall. The smaller boxes measure 3" x 6" x1" (7. 5 x 15 x 2. 5 cm)
